The Alliance plans to expand the geography and unite specialists from the member countries of the Interstate Council on Antimonopoly Policy and other countries of the Eurasian continent
The mission of the Alliance is to form a professional international community of experts in the field of development of competition and antimonopoly regulation and maintain constant interaction between them
The goals of the Alliance
Facilitating the establishment of a constructive dialogue between business, the Eurasian Economic Commission and the antimonopoly authorities of the countries represented in the Alliance, as well as the antimonopoly authorities of the countries of the Eurasian continent on issues of development, protection of competition and antimonopoly regulation
Participation in rule-making activities on the development and protection of competition and antimonopoly regulation
Assistance in the implementation of the best world experience in the field of development, protection of competition and antimonopoly regulation in the legislation and practice of application in the countries represented in the Alliance
Contribute to the formation of effective departmental and judicial practice in the application of antimonopoly/competition laws in the countries represented in the Alliance
Assistance in the formation of pro-competitive behavior in business
The idea of ​​creating an international professional community of experts in the field of competition and antimonopoly regulation has already been implemented in the EAEU space. Thus, in 2007, the Non-Commercial Partnership “Promotion of Competition in the CIS Countries” was established in the Russian Federation, which was later reorganized into the Eurasian Antimonopoly Association, which included experts from different CIS countries. In 2022, for a number of reasons, the Association was liquidated
The Eurasian Alliance of Antimonopoly Experts is a public association created and registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan on the initiative of Kazakhstani citizens
The Alliance includes experts who were members of the Eurasian Antimonopoly Association, having transferred their accumulated experience, stable connections and reputation of a professional community of high level and potential
History of the Alliance
The Council of the Alliance, a permanent collegial governing body, is formed in such a way that all the Interstate Council on Antimonopoly Policy member states, as well as the countries of the Eurasian region, are represented in it
Currently, the Council includes experts from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Uzbekistan. Thus, maximum awareness and an integrated approach are ensured when discussing and developing recommendations on the development of competition and antimonopoly regulation in the region
At the initiative of the members of the Alliance, permanent committees and working groups can be formed in it to discuss topical issues
